Ingredients:

  • 4 slices of halloumi cut into 2 cm sticks
  • Flour
  • Milk
  • Egg
  • Aromatic spices or herbs
  • Oil for frying
  • 2 burger rolls

Method:

1.Coat the halloumi slices with flour and then in the mixture of egg, milk and paprika or mint or cinnamon.

2.Then coat in the sesame seeds. Press them to coat well.

3.Place in the refrigerator for 1 hour, then deep fry.

4.Serve with honey or syrup from spoon sweets.

 

Other options are to cut the halloumi into cubes or thread them onto souvlaki sticks in between dry fruits to be served with cocktails or as finger food.
